The Island of Sardinia, new Andaluces por el Mundo destination

07 / 06 / 10

‘Andaluces por el Mundo’ travels this time to the middle of Mediterranean Sea and stops at one of the islands with long history: Sardinia.

Although since 1861 is part of Italian State, these lands have belonged to many people: from Phoenicians to Carthaginians, Arabs, Romans and Spaniards. After almost five years of government over the island, Spanish culture is still felt in many of its spots.

Sardinia is internationally known thanks to its creeks and turquoise-water beaches. Well-known people of any field and any country choose this island as a place to rest during their holidays. And thanks to its charms, also many other people, Andalusian included, have taken up residence in Sardinia.

‘Andaluces en Cerdeña’ is broadcasted on Monday 7th June at 22:15 on Canal Sur TV.
