The president of the Spanish Television Academy, Manuel Campo Vidal, praised travel programme produced by Medina Media and took it as a hopeful example for future television. Prestigious journalist issued these statements, collected by Diario de Sevilla, during Audiovisual Conferences organised by International University of Andalusia.
In its participation, criticized toughly the tendency to entertainment show in current television, assuring “people want to watch normal things, stories that have to do with them”. Moreover, Campo Vidal bet for new formats as a response to current situation of stagnation “it has come the time to innovate”.
Regarding News programmes, the president of the Academy complained about the majority based on “a statement and press conference agenda”, forgetting to “pay attention to what is going on around”.
