United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has just said yes to flamenco and included it in the list of cultural expressions that belong to Intagible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Since the beginning of 2010 the campaign ‘Flamenco Soy’ (‘I am flamenco’), produced by Medina Media Andalucía, has been running to promote nationally and internationally the candidature of this Art. Through Flamenco Television on the Internet, Flamenko.es, the candidature has been supported and voted. A total of 30.000 cybernauts from 60 countries have given their support to flamenco.
Flamenco has a double celebration, yesterday Flamenko.es got its best visit register in a day with 483 visits, matching up with its two first months.
