Journalist Luis Mariñas has passed away today by natural causes at the age of 63 in its house in Madrid. The last work of Mariñas for television, starting in Televisión Española in 1968, was the program produced by Medina Media "Vista Pública" ("Public Hearing") for Canal Sur. Mariñas presented in Prime Time and Late Night within 2007 and 2008 with an average share of 15.5%. He worked with his critical and social sense together with the research crew of Medina Media during this stage.
Luis Mariñas was the News Director of Telecinco since its beginning in 1990 to 1999, where we worked with Ricardo Media, News General Coordinator of Telecinco in 1994 and 1995.
The whole family of Medina Media has very good memories of Luis Mariñas, not only for his professionalism and experience, but also for his easy going personality with all his partners.
