María Medina, winner of Nipho Award of Television
Nebrija University celebrates this journalistic contest with the collaboration of the TV channel La Sexta, the newspaper 20 minutos and Canon.
The prize presentation, organised by Antonio de Nebrija University, took place last night at the Capitol Cinema in Madrid, where the winning TV report was shown. The work of Medina and her fellow Marc Estruch was based on the boom of Chinese language in Spain. The prize consists of working on La Sexta for three months.
The jury of the contest in this series was formed by Álvaro Rivas, Deputy Editor of La Sexta News; Arsenio Escolar, Editor of 20 minutos; Fernando González Urbaneja, President of the Press Association of Madrid and dean of the Journalism faculty of Nebrija University; and Andrés Ballesteros, Graphic Editor of EFE and professor at Nebrija University.
