Javier Reyes joins as Executive- Consultant in Medina Media Consulting, the company of the Corporation devoted to the development of projects and quality control of its products.

Reyes has the Bachelor of Image and Sound of the Complutense University in Madrid. He got his doctorate in 2005 and currently he is Production professor in the UCM. Due to his broad professional career, Javier Reyes has received several awards such as the Luis Buñuel Award of Script for the cinematographic adaptation of the novel ‘La Mortaja’ by Miguel Delibes, and the Award of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for the best news coverage with ‘Demonstration against the Irak War celebrated in Madrid’. In recognition of so many years of work, in 2008 he received the Talent Award from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

His professional experience covers many fields in the audiovisual sector. He started his career as scriptwriter in 1982 with the medium-length movie ‘Nostalgia of dumb comedy’ and ‘That pair of shoes’. He wrote the original script of the long-length movie ‘Delirium’ and ‘The Virgin of the Giants’. He also did the cinematographic adaptation for the novel ‘For whom the bells ring’ (1998/99) and wrote the original script and worked as Executive Producer in the series ‘From Cibeles to Neptuno’.

Within 1997 and 2009 he took part in the original script of several long-lenght Films such as: The Black List, Goodbye Madrid, Tin Hinan and The Present Day.
