The travel programme of Medina Media Andalucía celebrates its anniversary and the digital newspaper of ‘Diary of Sevilla’ has highlited this news in its Television section. In it, they state that “If the perimeter of the Earth is 40.000 kilomentres long, according to scientists, Canal Sur has travelled around the world 25 times looking for Andalusian emigrants”. During these five years, ‘Andalusians around the World’ has travelled a million kilometres, in 140 trips, to know the stories of the Andalusian emigrants that one day ledt their hometown to start a new life in other countries.
Luis Márquez, one of the reporters of the programme that has been interviewed by the newspaper, is still experiencing it. From his experience he states that “thanks to the programme I know many different realities and each one provides something new and opens the mind”.
‘Andalusians around the World’ celebrates its 5th anniversary with its ninth season, in which there have been included new elements in order to keep attracting new spectators.
