Medina Media has presented two documentaries to the Cinema Academy for the Goya Awards 2012. ‘Sea bites ('Percebeiros'), short-film documentary, directed by David Beriaín shows the daily danger of the people who collects seafood and their human fears. The board of directs of Cinema Academy has already chosen this short-film of Medina Media as one of the ten finalists. 'Seabites' (Percebeiros) will be shown on Monday 5th December at 20:00 in the headquarters of the Academy.
‘The Square’( 'La Plaza'), directed by Adriano Morán, is a co-production of Medina Media with the production company Diximedia. It collects the most important moments lived in the Puerta del Sol of Madrid, where the demonstrators settled down for their movement. This documentary was presented past Monday 28th November in Salamanca and will be shown in Madrid and main cities of Spain soon. Its title, ‘The Square’( 'La Plaza'), has been taken from one poem of Vicente Aleixandre.
